Lisa Kiplinger

Contributing Editor

A fanatic saver with a frugal streak, financial journalist Lisa Kiplinger set a goal to retire early. After 18 years as a copy editor for the Money section at USA TODAY and a year as Personal Finance Editor there, she took the leap and retired. It lasted two weeks. A former colleague reached out with a part-time opportunity too interesting to pass up. She joined Kiplinger.com (no relation, believe it or not!) and spent five years as Managing Editor of Wealth Creation before retiring for good. And then another former colleague reached out, and … well, you get the picture.
